Who We Are
The Sherman Parent Teacher Organization is a parent-led, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that strives to build strong relationships with the school, its families and the community. By working together as a team; parents, educators and community members can provide our students the best possible, most well-rounded education in our nurturing small town environment.
Our fundraising revenue is used to supplement the school budget with enrichment programs and supplies for the Sherman School students and teachers.

As a parent, grandparent, or guardian of a Sherman School student, we invite you to join the SPTO. We would love your help in whatever way you are able! Whether you can volunteer one hour a year or one hour a week, there is a place for you in SPTO. Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school.
